What you send us through the form

The inquiry form asks for a name, a way to reach you, and a description of the work. Everything on it is optional except a contact detail, because without one we cannot answer you.

What you send is used to reply to your inquiry and to carry out the work if you go ahead. It is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone who is not involved in answering you or doing the job.

If you would rather not use the form, the phone number on this site reaches the same place.

Analytics

Flooring Masters Manhattan uses Google Analytics to understand how this website is found and used. It records the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the kind of device and browser you use, and how you arrived. It sets cookies to do that.

It does not record your name, your phone number, your email address or anything you type into the inquiry form. Those go to us and only to us, and are never sent to Google. Advertising features are switched off. A visit that moves between our own websites is followed across them so that it counts once. Those websites are flooringmastersbronx.com, flooringmastersbrooklyn.com, flooringmastersmanhattan.com, flooringmastersny.com, flooringmastersqueens.com and flooringmastersstatenisland.com, and your visit is not followed to any other website.

Google may process this data outside your country. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics also works, and blocking it does not affect the inquiry form or anything else on this site.

Phone calls

Calls to the phone numbers on this website may be recorded and transcribed, so that we can follow up on your inquiry accurately. A recording is kept by us and used for nothing else.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers.

The analytics described above may set cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit. Your browser settings control whether it can, and blocking them stops no part of this site working.

The footer of every page shows a Google map of where we are based. That map is loaded from Google, so opening any page on this site contacts Google and Google may set its own cookies through it. We receive nothing from it and we do not use it to identify you. If you would rather it did not load, blocking third party content in your browser removes the map and leaves the rest of the site working.

How long anything is kept

Inquiries are kept while they are live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that if you come back to us about the same floor we know what was discussed.

Analytics data is held under the retention settings of the analytics service and is not linked to your inquiry.

Asking us about your information

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch through the contact page or by phone and tell us what you would like done.

If you ask us to delete an inquiry we will, unless we need part of it to finish work that is already under way.
